Visitor Information Centre

Open year round, we provide information on attractions, activities, accommodation, events and more to visitors from around the world. The Visitor Centre is staffed by knowledgeable counsellors, carries an extensive inventory of local and provincial travel publications and actively promotes Greater Red Deer as a vacation destination.

Location: North of the 32nd Street overpass on Highway 2.

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; weekends and holidays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Extended summer hours) Amenities include: snack shop, gift shop, washrooms, rest area, sports museum, plenty of parking and highway access. A park with playground, picnic area, equestrian centre and trails is adjacent to our site.
