The 4th annual Discover Red Deer & Area is being held today as part of national tourism week and once again it is being well received by the residents of our area. Over 20 tourism operators have set up booths at Bower Mall in Red Deer promoting their tourism product to mall patrons. It runs from 11am to 6 pm.

So far the year to date total is 57,817 (2009) that is up from 54,284 last year (2008).
